Well, I've been in Montreal a few days now and been to
the Jazz Fest here several times. It would be unfair
to compare it to the one in New Orleans because it is
so different (alright, NOTHING compares to the one in
New Orleans). Anyway, there's a special stage just for
Louisiana bands, in celebration of 100 years since the
birth of jazz in New Orleans. Overall, Louisiana is
fairly well represented here and the music has been well
received by the crowds.
When I get back in town (and get the photos developed)
I will write a detailed article on the event. Peace.
